How do you approach the throne of God?
Every time we kneel down to pray, we are spiritually approaching the throne of God but it is important to understand that if you really want to reach His throne, there is a certain way to approach Him. First, you must have faith that God exists and He is waiting for you. You cannot reach Him unless you come in the name of His only son Jesus (John 14:6).
In order to get His help or rescue, the bible requires confidence in our hearts…we need to approach the throne of God with confidence. Don’t approach Him with fear or doubt because fear and doubt block His mighty hand and open a door to the devil.
Let me illustrate the situation with this example: A 10 year old boy was in an airplane and during the flight there was a wild and terrible wind at the point that the airplane was violently shaken so much so everybody thought that the plane would crash. One of the stewards noticed that the 10 year old boy didn’t panic at all; in the contrary he was smiling by watching the other passengers screaming with fearful faces. The steward approached the young boy and asked him why he didn’t panic and here is the answer of the boy: “All these people are afraid because they don’t know who’s the pilot”. The steward asked him: “Who’s the pilot?”. The boy answered: “The pilot is my father and as long as he’s in charge, I know I’ll be home safe no matter what!”
This is the kind of attitude the Lord expects from us. He wants us to trust Him no matter what like this little boy.
Verse of the day: Hebrews 4:16 « Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need»

Comment t’approches-tu du trône de Dieu ?
Chaque fois que nous nous agenouillons pour prier, nous nous approchons spirituellement du trône de Dieu mais c’est important de comprendre que si tu veux réellement atteindre Son trône, il y’a un certain moyen de l’approcher. Avant tout, tu dois avoir la foi qu’Il existe et qu’Il t’attend. Tu ne peux pas l’atteindre si tu ne viens pas au nom de Son fils unique Jésus (Jean 14 :6).
Pour avoir Son aide ou Son secours, la bible exige l’assurance dans nos cœurs…on doit approcher le trône de Dieu avec assurance. Ne l’approche pas avec la peur ou avec les doutes parce que la peur ou les doutes bloquent Sa main puissante et ouvrent une porte au diable.
Laisse-moi illustrer la situation avec cet exemple : Un garçon de 10 ans était dans un avion et pendant le vol il y’avait un vent violant et terrible au point que l’avion a été sérieusement secoué jusqu'à ce que tout le monde pensait que l’avion allait s’écraser. Une des hôtesses de l’air avait remarqué que le garçon de 10 ans n’a pas paniqué du tout ; au contraire il souriait en assistant les autres passagers hurler avec des visages remplis de frayeur. L’hôtesse a approché le jeune garçon et lui a demandé pourquoi il n’a pas paniqué et voici la réponse du garçon : « Tout ce monde a peur parce qu’ils ne savent pas qui est le pilote ». L’hôtesse lui a demandé : « Qui est le pilote ? ». Le garçon a répondu : « Le pilote est mon père et aussi longtemps qu’il pilote, je sais que je serai à la maison en toute sécurité quoi qu’il advienne !»
C’est le genre d’attitude que le Seigneur attend de nous. Il veut que nous lui fassions confiance malgré tout comme le petit garçon.
