Verset du jour : Luc 8 :3 « Jeanne, femme de Chuza, intendant d'Hérode, Susanne, et plusieurs autres, qui l'assistaient de leurs biens »
Aujourd’hui, nous terminons cet enseignement. Avant de clôturer, j’aimerais parler de comment on peut sanctifier nos biens.
Comme je l’ai déjà dit, certains chrétiens croient que Jésus n’utilisait jamais l’argent. La bible nous montre clairement que Jésus avait une caisse à gérer pour l’achat des différents besoins ou pour assister les pauvres (Jean 13 :29). Non seulement il utilisait l’argent pour faire du bien, mais il payait même l’impôt comme tout le monde.
Je crois que c’est surprenant pour certains de réaliser que Jésus assistait les pauvres avec l’argent ! Une question s’impose : d’où venait cet argent ?
Parfois, il arrivait qu’il y’ait un besoin urgent et que l’argent n’était pas disponible d’où Jésus faisait recours au miracle comme le jour où Il a envoyé Pierre pour pêcher un poisson à l’intérieur duquel se trouvait l’argent nécessaire pour payer l’impôt (Matt 17 :27).
D’une manière générale, Jésus était assisté financièrement par des croyants comme Jeanne, la femme de Chuza selon le verset du jour (Luc 8 :3). Jeanne était sans aucun doute une femme riche puisqu’elle était la femme de l’intendant du roi Hérode. Le verset du jour cite également Susanne et plusieurs autres qui l’assistaient de leurs biens.
Quelqu’un me dirait que Jésus n’est plus sur terre aujourd’hui mais je dois rappeler qu’Il n’est plus présent physiquement mais que spirituellement il est toujours ici et restera avec nous jusqu'à la fin du monde selon sa promesse (Matt 28 :20). Il a également dit aux disciples que celui qui les reçoit le reçoit (Matt 10 :40). Si on assiste un serviteur de Dieu, c’est comme si c’était Jésus lui-même qu’on assiste (selon ce verset).
Le but de cet enseignement est d’encourager les chrétiens à semer la bonne semence en plaçant la foi dans le Seigneur car on finit toujours par moissonner au temps convenable. Le compte céleste ne contient pas que de l’argent mais contient toutes les œuvres (bonnes ou mauvaises) que nous faisons sur terre. Dieu dans sa justice et sa fidélité a des principes et respecte souvent nos choix même si souvent ils sont mauvais. Dans sa grande miséricorde, Il nous envoie son Esprit Saint pour nous ramener vers la bonne voie.
Le compte céleste n’est opérationnel que pour ceux qui ont accepté Jésus comme leur Sauveur et Seigneur. Si tu veux te repentir et l’inviter dans ta vie, écrivez-moi.

Let us invest in heaven (Sixth part)
Verse of the day: Luke 8:3 “Joanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod’s household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means”
Today we finish this teaching and I would like to talk about how we can sanctify our own means.
Like I have said it yesterday, some Christians believe that Jesus never used money. The Bible clearly shows us that Jesus had a cashbox to manage for buying different needs or to assist the poor (John 13:29). Not only He used money to do what was good, but He also paid taxes like everybody. I think this may be surprising to some of you to realize that Jesus was assisting the poor with money! Here is the big question: Where was that money from?
Sometime it happened that there was an urgent need and the money was not available and then Jesus relied on a miracle like the day where He sent Peter to fish and inside the fish was the necessary money to pay taxes (Matt 17:27).
In general, Jesus was financially assisted by different believers like Joanna the wife of Chuza according to the verse of the day (Luke 8:3). Joanna was definitely a rich woman because Chuza was the manager of Herod’s household. The verse of the day also quotes Susanna and many others who were helping to support him out of their own means.
Someone would tell me that Jesus is no longer on earth today but I have to remind you that he is no longer physically present but spiritually he is and he will always be with us until the end of the world according to his promise (Matthew 28:20). He also told his disciples that anyone who welcomes them welcomes him (Matt 10:40). If we assist a servant of God, it’s like assisting Jesus himself (according to the verse).
The goal of this teaching is to encourage Christians to sow the good seed by putting faith in the Lord because we always end up reaping at the proper time. The heavenly account does not only cover money but also contains all the deeds (good and bad) that we do here on earth. God in His justice and faithfulness to His principles often respects ours choices even though they are bad most of the time. In his great mercy he sends to us his Holy-Spirit to bring us back to the right way.
The heavenly account is only operational for those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior and King. If you want to repent and to invite Jesus with a sincere heart, write to me.
